Calling all Kindergarten-third grade teachers...take your class on an exciting science field trip at the SFA Mast Arboretum April 11-15! Students will have the opportunity to explore forest habitats, plant and animal adaptations and the world of pollinators through hands-on activities that are correlated to state mandated science standards. Azalea Art Day

10 am to 2 p.m.; Sterne-Hoya House Museum & Library, 211 S. Lanana

Enjoy hands-on crafts and activities, some with historic roots, centered around the beautiful azalea plants at the Sterne-Hoya House Museum & Library. Crafts will include: flower pounding, homemade sun catchers, watercolors made from flowers and other activities. This event is free and appropriate for all ages. Some activities may be messy, so please dress appropriately.
